Apple’s Unified Gift Card is now available in Europe and other countries. After its release in 2020, this card has solved the most frequent confusion among users, who used to get confused between which cards to buy in the App S tore and in the Apple Store.
The arrival of the unified card allows purchases on both platforms. In this way, it is possible to buy the material in the physical or online stores of devices and accessories or to buy a service in the app store. Thus, users can buy products, accessories, applications, games, music, movies, series, iCloud + and much more.
The card in which “everything fits” arrives in Europe
But despite its slow expansion, today’s launch finally brings the Apple Gift Card to the biggest parts of Europe. These include Europe, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy. Its availability should expand to the rest of European countries in the coming days.
As Apple points out, this gift card can be used to purchase products at Apple Stores or online at Apple.com. However, the same gift card can also be spent on the purchase of movies, music, or TV shows on iTunes and the App Store for apps and in-app purchases. With that comes the end of the two gift cards that Apple used to sell for each of those outlets.
The new gift card comes in five designs with a colorful Apple logo. When you buy it, you can add a personalized message and email it directly to whoever you want. The balance is automatically added to the Apple account when using the card, which can then be used for purchases.
For users who have a balance on their Apple ID from a previous gift card you used, you can use it for Apple Store purchases.
