The hype surrounding Sonic the Hedgehog is relatively high right now, especially considering that Swift Hedgehog’s 30th anniversary celebration has been underway for a while. We’re still waiting for the release of Sonic Frontiers, it was just announced yesterday that the third Sonic the Hedgehog movie is coming!
So, it makes perfect sense to have Blue Blur make a cameo elsewhere, right? Especially considering the recent news that the Hedgehog might be coming to Fall Guys.Well, that’s exactly what happened this week, because Sonic the Hedgehog and friends fast into the world of Fall Guys
The event, which begins on August 11 and runs through August 15, 2022, celebrates over three decades of Sonic the Hedgehog, his friends and even his enemies.
In the meantime, players will – obviously – be able to get some cute bean-sized cosmetic items that will transform your standard Fall Guy into Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and even Dr. Robotnik.
There will also be a whole new stage called Doushan. This level is Fall Guys’ own take on Sonic’s Green Hill Zone, with its own set of challenges. That said, quick beans have to blast through the course, collect as many rings as possible to unlock rewards!
The rewards for collecting rings are as follows:
- “Doushan Belt” nameplate – 200 points
- 200 Likes – 400 Points
- Bonus Ring Pattern Set – 600 Points
- 400 Likes – 800 Points
- Sonic Sneakers – 1000 Points
In addition to new levels and Sonic-themed cosmetics, a new emote will be available in the in-game store during the event; the Sonic Tap Foot emote.
