The free games via PlayStation Plus Essential in August have been fixed and ready since the beginning of the month, now the announcement of the new additions in the more expensive Premium and Extra tiers has followed.
Anyone who has subscribed to PlayStation Plus Premium or Extra will receive additional game fodder from Sony again in August. The game catalog will grow by a whopping 12 more titles from August 16th next week.
There are again three Yakuza series, after this was last confirmed completely for PS Plus and the first titles appeared there in July. Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be added in the new week.
Far away from the open world action series, there are also other interesting and well-known titles in the line-up. Horror fans will be delighted with the 1v4 long-running Dead by Daylight, which is getting some fresh Resident Evil cross-over content these days. Here, a killer fights against four survivors trying to escape gruesome death.
Other more well-known titles in the lineup include Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, which offers you an open-world military shooter experience that you can also tackle with up to three friends, and Bugsnax. Here you play a curious journalist who sets out to explore Snaktooth Island, home of the legendary half-bug, half-snack creatures Bugsnax.
