The “Star Trek” universe goes back to the 1960s, when “Spaceship Enterprise” flickered across the screens for the first time. Today the franchise is huge, there are numerous films and series. With the films since 2009 there is also a kind of remake. “Mission: Impossible” is very similar.
The film series, now best known for Tom Cruise’s daredevil stunts, was also once a hit series from the ’60s. In Germany, however, this is not so well known, because the TV series was renamed “Kobra, Sie sie”. The two franchises have more connections than you think!
