The new cutout on the iPhone 14 Pro lock screen will allow Apple to change the way it should show us the remaining batterycoverage, WiFi and other elements.
The new iPhone 14 Pro will bring an aesthetic change to the screen that gives a lot to say, and which will surely be the center of much controversy after its launch. Apple will change its already classic “notch” for two cutouts on the screen, one circular and the other more rectangular but with rounded corners, however, with the screen on, they will be displayed as a single cutout
Since Apple launched the iPhone X, one of the elements removed from this upper part of the screen was the battery percentage, which now with iOS 16 will return but placed inside the battery icon . However on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, having more space will return to its original place
This will be the case at least with the locked screen. With the screen unlocked, having to add the clock to the top bar, Apple can decide to reposition the cover bars to the right, or place the clock on the left removing the carrier name. For that you have to add the indicators of use of the camera and the microphone in the middle of the two cutouts for the cameras and the facial recognition system, which will be represented by a green and orange dot respectively in the middle of the new “notch” of the iPhone.
