The first tests of the iPhone 14 have revealed unknown details about the device!
Since the launch of the iPhone 14 last week, all of its features have been thoroughly evaluated, letting us know the details that were announced at the event. This time, a new report has confirmed that repairing the device will be much easier and therefore should be cheaper.
The above is certainly great news after revealing the rise of other device-related services.
According to the first teardowns, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus feature a removable rear window to facilitate repairs, in case this component needs it. This feature makes these models the first that can be easily opened from the back of the device since the iPhone 4S. As we share below.

iPhone 14 makes everything easier
To repair the back glass of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, Apple Authorized Service Providers must open the device from the display side, disassemble the components and install an “iPhone Back System” part, which is an iPhone case with all the components except the screen and the rear camera. But Thanks to the removable glass of the iPhone 14, repairs will be cheaper for Apple and more ecological.
However, iPhone 14 can still be opened from the front, also facilitating screen repairs. For the moment this feature has not been confirmed for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. We will therefore have to wait for the arrival of the first users to obtain more details.
Currently, Apple Authorized Services will charge $199 and $229 to replace the damaged back glass of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, respectively, for parts and labor. If the customer has AppleCare+ coverage for the iPhone, the price is reduced to 29 dollars for both models.
This Friday with the start of the first shipments of the iPhone 14, the first reviews of the device have already begun to be known and the first teardowns that will reveal more features on the new iPhone series.
