If you want to live the Apple dream but don’t make a 5-figure monthly salary, it’s important to keep an eye out for deals and discounts so you don’t offend your banker. The good news is that French Days is in full swing and that FNAC is currently offering many discounts on MacBook Pros with M1 or M1 Pro chips.
French days: MacBook Pro prices with M1 chip have dropped
It seems that FNAC wants to empty its MacBook Pro stocks a bit, as a large part of the range is affected by promotions for this French Days. If you need to replace your old model or want to swap out your PC for a Macintosh, now might be the time to take action.
The offers are diverse, so we name a few of them here. The 14-inch MacBook Pro with 512 GB, 16 GB of RAM and its 8-core M1 chip costs between $2,249 and $1,999. The 13-inch model with Touch Bar, 1TB of storage and 16GB goes from 2139e to 1925$.
If you want more muscular configurations, you should know that the 16-inch MacBook Pro with the 10-core M1 Pro (16GB of RAM and 512 SSD) goes from $2749 to $2549, while the same model but with 1TB equipped with memory, goes from 2979$ to 2779$.

What about MacBook Pros? They’ve been among the best ultrabooks out there for years, and they’ve shined especially since Apple ditched Intel chips in favor of its own chip, the famed M1 processor. Available in an 8-core version or 10-core with the M1 Pro, this chip seems to have managed to square the circle by offering excellent performance with low power consumption and particularly controlled heating.
If the products are particularly expensive, Apple computers with exemplary processing quality and aluminum frames resist the most beautiful effect. Fans of the brand will also praise the brand’s Retina screens (often actually Samsung or LG panels) which deliver beautiful images.
A MacBook is also a well-locked platform logic, with a proprietary ecosystem that allows for a minimum of compatibility issues and software that’s pretty well optimized for the machines they run on. Also the operating system is specific to the famous MacOS (the latest 13.x version is called Ventura, FNAC products are expected to ship with the Monterrey 12.x version) and its legendary ease of use.
The ecosystem is also extended by portable devices, the perfect symbiosis with iOS, the App Store and all specific Apple software, including Final Cut and iTunes. Finally, we must also mention certain services such as Apple Pay or the Apple Music music streaming system.
