'Fight or Fear' event returns with Shadow Royale in October (2022)

The month of witches is about to begin and the atmosphere becomes sinister. Apex Legends is getting ahead of all other games with its celebration for Halloween and the return of the ‘Fight or Fear’ event in October 2022, which brings with it the Shadow Royale mode.

This time around, the Halloween event will span four weeks, each one focusing on a different game mode.

In October 2022, the Halloween event Fight or Fear will arrive in Apex Legends and with it the Shadow royale, Arms Race and Control modes return.

October 4 to 11: Shadow Royale on the Olympus map after dark.
October 11 to 18: Arms Race at Estates After Dark, Skull Town, and East Shard.
October 18 to 25: Control at the Lava Siphon, Barometer and Laboratories after dark.
October 25 to November 1: Shadow Royale in Olympus after dark.

‘Shadow Royale’

This is a modality for Trios in which any player that is eliminated respawns in ‘shadow’ form. Shadows can run on walls, revive their allies, and deal extra damage with melee attacks. The other shadows go down in one punch, and his living teammates aren’t much different. Shadows, both friend and foe, appear endlessly until they wipe out your entire squad.

arms race

In this game mode we participate in quick battles against three other teams. As we accumulate we go up a track of 25 weapons. Every time we get a kill with a weapon, we will receive the next highest weapon on the path. The final weapon on the path is a new exclusive throwing knife. If you want to train with him, he’ll be available at the shooting range.

We will have infinite ammunition, health objects and automatic respawns.

Control

This is a game mode nine players against nine players

. Our objective is to control zones. We will receive points for each second of domination of an area; the more zones we have, the more points we will get per second. The first team to reach 1250 wins. When a team has all three zones at once, the game goes into lockdown and a counter is activated. If the team that is in the lead holds the situation until the counter reaches zero, they automatically win. The respawns are endless.

On this occasion, this mode had several changes and adjustments. Also includes a TRM timed event: get the Mobile Respawn Transmitter and deploy it to create a temporary spawn point for your team.
