NBC Universal has four pay-TV programs: Syfy, 13th Street, E! Entertainment and Universal TV. One of the channels will soon be switched off and no longer be available on Sky and Co.
- The German-language pay-TV broadcaster E! Entertainment will be discontinued before the end of the year.
- This means that the channel from NBC Universal is missing from the channel selection from Sky, MagentaTV, GigaTV and PYUR.
- Syfy, 13th Street and Universal TV remain unaffected by E! Entertainment probably untouched.
Sky, Telekom and Vodafone’s pay-TV customers will soon have to do without a channel: E! According to media reports, Entertainment will be discontinued before the end of the year. This is the end for the German broadcaster of the media empire NBC Universal after around 20 years on the air.
In 2007, “Keeping up with the Kardashians” celebrated on E! Germany premiere. The reality format based on the It family of the US media boulevard thus remained the broadcaster’s best-known format by an outstanding margin.
