Blizzard has announced that during the first ten days of launch, the peak daily player period is Overwatch 2 Almost triple the size of the original game.
During this period, the game also attracted more than 25 million console and PC players.
New support hero Kiriko has proven to be the hottest player in the game. In the first week alone, players managed to charge and unleash her Kitsune Rush ultimate more than 2 million times, according to Blizzard.

In addition to new heroes, new features in Overwatch 2 include cross-platform progression, a new 5v5 multiplayer format, six new maps, a new Push game mode, a new ping system, a redesigned competitive mode, each Updated hero skins, numerous hero power kit rework, updated graphics and audio engines, and more.
Blizzard said this is “just the beginning” as there are “many possibilities to explore” in the Overwatch world the team is building for live games.

Players can also earn Double Match XP on the weekends of October 21st, October 28th and November 24th.
