Apple has confirmed that the new Apple TV 4K costs $169 for the Wi-Fi variant and $189 for the Wi-Fi + Ethernet version.
The product is cheaper than the last two Apple TV 4K models.

The Apple TV 4K (2022) incorporates a new chip: the A15 Bionic. Apple claims this will deliver up to 50% faster CPU performance and smoother gameplay, with a 30% faster GPU.
Apple has also introduced support for HRR10+, which joins the support for Dolby Vision that Apple TV products already have. As for audio, it supports Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital 7.1 or Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.
There are two different versions of the Apple TV 4K (2022), offering different storage configurations. They are:
- Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi) – 64GB storage
- Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi + Ethernet) – 128 GB storage
The latter offers more flexibility, with “Gigabit Ethernet” for fast networking and streaming [y] wire mesh network protocol to connect even more smart home accessories,” according to Apple.
The Siri Remote returns with touch controls and voice support. The design has a big change from previous generations: it now adopts USB-C charging.
Users will have access to major Apple applications, such as Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness. Additionally, Apple often offers free trials of some of these services for new customers and those purchasing a new Apple product.
