BioWare recently announced via a publicationwhich led to Dragon Age: Dreadwolf to an alpha state, where the game is playable from start to finish. There is still a lot of work to do, after all it is an alpha, but it seems that the new installment of the saga is on the right track. Rumors continue to indicate that it will be released in 2023. As for the possible sequel, it looks like it might take a bit longer.
In the same game update article, BioWare CEO Gary McKay said the studio has a team “working hard to imagine what the future holds for a new single-player Mass Effect game“. No further details were provided, but he looks forward to celebrating N7 Day next month. As the name suggests, “imagine” can mean many things, all we know is that will be developed with Unreal Engine 5.
For the ignorant, the N7 takes place on November 7 and it’s a day of celebration for the series and the community. BioWare has shown footage of the upcoming game in the past, so we’ll have to keep an eye out for that.
