After a few postponements, the time has now come. Nacon and Cyanide have announced a release date for Blood Bowl 3 that’s not too far away.
Blood is as much a part of the Warhammer universe as crooked teeth are of an orc’s mouth. Sport, on the other hand, is a different story. Except, of course, when the red lifeblood is flowing by the hectolitre on the pitch. If you combine the whole thing with a modified form of American football, Blood Bowl is actually quite well described. With Blood Bowl 3, the third offshoot of the video game adaptation of the tabletop is in the starting blocks. And it has now been given a release date.

As announced by publisher Nacon and developers from Cyanide Studio, Blood Bowl 3 will be released on February 23, 2023. The teams state PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as release platforms.
If you know the tabletop template, then you should be happy that Blood Bowl 3 is based on the latest version of it. The developers have named new pass statistics, playing fields with their own rules, coaches, cheeleaders and star players as new features.
