Tired of clicking a button and removing a disc from Xbox One? Well, now you don't have to.
Believe it or not, the ability to eject a disc from an Xbox One controller has been one of the most needed features of the console since its release 7 years ago. Finally, here it is. Be encouraged (in the American way, not the Scottish way-unless you like to celebrate like that, do it).
Xbox One now allows you to eject the disc-the actual physical disc, remember? – While hovering the mouse over the media on the home screen, press the X button on the controller. If your cat is trained to also remove the disc and put it back in the box, there is no need to leave the sofa.
Just a joke, the reason why this feature is required is because after seven years of using the console, the console's eject button is easily damaged. If your button doesn't work, there is another option now, it doesn't talk to Alexa like someone with a fever in the cabin.
This feature is currently being rolled out to insiders, so it will be released to everyone in a future update. The feature is already on the Xbox 360, so even if my cat is an idiot who hates me and never follows my orders, it's nice to see it again.
Microsoft has also just released some less exciting news, confirming that the Xbox Series X will have 12 teraflops. This is 6 trillion terabytes more than the Xbox One X, and 1 trillion terabytes more than the maximum advertised by Google Stadia. Basically, this is a lot of failure. Cheers.
