The story of Armored Core VI: Fired of Rubicon It begins when a new mysterious substance is discovered on the remote planet, Rubicon 3. Thanks to the discovery of this substance, it was expected that it would drastically advance humanity’s technological and communication capabilities. However, this substance caused a catastrophe that engulfed the planet and surrounding stars in flames and storms, forming a Burning Star System. Nearly half a century later, the same mysterious substance resurfaced on Rubicon 3, a planet now contaminated and sealed by catastrophe.
Now, alien corporations and resistance groups fight for control of the substance of Rubicon 3. Our character infiltrates Rubicon as a freelance mercenary and finds himself in the middle of a fight for the substance with corporations and other factions.
