Since “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” takes place just seven years before “Starship Enterprise” and starts shortly after the events of the second “Star Trek: Discovery” season, the series naturally offers immense potential for cross-references. It’s not just characters like Uhura and Spock that are returning.
