Gamer Network founder Rupert Loman left the company 20 years later.
The move comes two years after Gamer Network was acquired by ReedPop, producer of PAX, New York Comic Con, and other global industry events.
Loman announced his departure on Instagram today.
He and his brother Nick founded Gamer Network in Brighton in 1999. For more than two decades, it has been producing some of the most popular websites in video game media, including VG247, RPS, and Eurogamer, as well as video websites including Outside Xbox, with over 50 million monthly visitors. Its latest release is Dicebreaker, a website designed specifically for the underserved board game community.
Gamer Network / ReedPop also produces EGX, the largest public video game conference in the UK.
