Amazon updates its Echos to make them compatible with Matter

We’ve been talking to you for a few months about Matter, the new universal connection protocol that is revolutionizing home automation. No more searching for bulbs, plugs or any other smart gadget compatible with HomeKit, Alexa or Google Home, Matter is here to make all devices compatible with each other. Manufacturers must integrate this new protocol and now Amazon just updated its Echo speakers to make them compatible with Matter

And they already warn that soon we will have more speakers compatible with Matter… Of course, for now th is integration is only compatible with android

but soon they will be (early 2023) also compatible with the Thread protocol and with iOS we will soon be able to take advantage of this universal integration with our Apple devices.
