“Rick & Michonne” appears to be in the middle of production. Filming hasn’t started yet, but the cast and producers are already planning the direction the spin-off will take.
Most recently, Rick was considered missing among his comrades-in-arms, possibly even dead. But Michonne believed in his survival. The series finale of “TWD” finally shows us that she was right. Rick is alive. Both go in search of each other and don’t give up until they find each other. This quest will be a central part of the upcoming series.
When the shooting of “Rick & Michonne” will actually start cannot be said yet. However, the US broadcaster AMC promises that the spin-off series will be released in 2023.
