another rumor Xbox Showcase After a while, finally, Windows Central reports that it has some specific information about the show.
Editor-in-Chief Jez Corden reports that the showcase could be titled Xbox Developer_Direct and will allegedly be held at January 25th 8:00pm GMT / 9:00pm CET / 12:00pm PT / 3:00pm ET.
Corden reported hearing about the Xbox Showcase as early as December, but “has since been able to lock in information through various sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans.”
According to reports, the show, with its shiny new title, is said to be part of a “new initiative” by Microsoft and Xbox, in which the two companies try to show more content outside of big events like E3, The Game Awards, and more. Share information about their games, and more.
Additionally, the show is said to be co-hosted by Xbox and Bethesda and will focus on games like Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and Minecraft Legends. If the information from Windows Central is true, there will also be content from ZeniMax Online Studios.
Given this information, it appears Starfield may not have a seat at Xbox’s Developer_Direct later this month. So, like Windows Central, I can only imagine Starfield showing his work publicly in due course.
