Sony just rolled out a new feature for the PlayStation Store that allows players to give personalized gifts.
Without warning, Sony has just introduced a brand new feature that now allows you to offer fully personalized gifts for the PlayStation Store. The company now gives us the possibility to personalize the PSN cards that we want to offer ourselves, offering us personalization tools to create attractive digital gifts or in printable PDF format.
To personalize your own little gift, simply purchase a PSN card from any retailer and retrieve the code and amount.
You must then go to the page of official page brought online by Sony to choose one of the cards offered in the colors of popular games on PS4 and PS5 or related to the entire PlayStation universe. Then follow the steps by entering the code, the amount or even a small personalized message before receiving your gift in the form of a digital file. You can then download it, send it or even print it out. The lucky winner of the surprise only has to enter the code directly in the PS Store to benefit from it.
Too bad the option comes after the end-of-year celebrations.
At the moment this new feature is not very extensive but will surely be updated in the future with new images and certainly more options.
After this first step, players now hope that soon it will be possible to send digital gifts directly to family or friends, be it codes to top up the online wallet or a game purchased directly through the PlayStation Store, as is possible, for example on Steam. But for now it doesn’t seem to be a priority for Sony.
