We can’t wait to see Armor Core 6 Gameplay since it was revealed, so let’s hope we see some in next month’s dedicated stream.
The Taipei Game Show kicks off on February 2, and publisher Bandai Namco will also be present at the event. Bandai Namco’s upcoming game, of course, is Armored Core 6: Rubicon Fire, which revealed a dramatic cinematic trailer at The Game Awards last month that showed zero seconds of gameplay.
The lack of gameplay in game reveals is pretty common these days, but it’s clear we’d all like to see more. Hopefully we’ll see more at Taipei Game Show, as Bandai Namco has scheduled a livestream on February 3rd, expected to be an hour long. It’s unlikely that all of this will be filled with gameplay, but at such a large event, for such a high-profile game, there’s a good chance we’ll see it in action, even if just a little bit.
Series producer and publicity marketer Yasunori Ogura will also be in the showcase, and hopefully he’ll bring some new information.
Following the reveal, Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki and Armored Core 6 producer Masaru Yamamura sat down for an interview about the game, giving us some insight into what to expect from the game. Unsurprisingly, mech customization is a big part of the sequel, and just like in the previous titles, players have access to more resources than in past entries. Boss battles will also be the “highlight” of the game, although you shouldn’t expect it to be open world like Elden Ring, as it will have a mission-based structure like some older games.
