The name and first screenshot of Riot Games' launcher Project A is reportedly leaked.
Project A It was announced last year along with several other Riot Games development projects. Riot showed some pieces of gameplay, calling them tactical shooters.
Riot didn't disclose more details, but this week, the screenshots taken from the most recent game test let us see the hero selection screen. Screenshots shared by fan accounts @ValorantTheGame, Showing six different characters.
Thanks to the queue screen on the left, we know the names of three of them. They are sulfur, sage and poisonous snakes. What's more interesting, however, is that the characters in the game seem to have unique abilities.
Sage is listed as a Sentinel class, and from her ability, she seems to be a supporter / healer type. Until this leak, the game was considered more like Counter-Strike than Overwatch.
@ProjectAOnline, A community run by fans, considers Valorant to be the official name of Project A. It is based on two points.
First, a Twitter account with a handle @PlayVALORANT Already exists and has been created this month. The name Valorant also appears on Game's official website
Of course, Valorant may be the name of any other Riot project, but in theory it is a shooting game, not a fighting game or a mysterious third project.
Riot recently invited Counter-Strike commentators and former professional players, Henry GTo test the game in its EU office, so developers may step up to prepare for the official release of the game.
Thank you, polygon.
