There are characters that are burned into our memory. For many, Sonic surely be one of them. But not only him, but also his most popular friends and rivals. Characters like Tails, Knuckles o Shadow they have become some of the favorite characters of many players.
However, the sonic the hedgehog franchise has had many other characters that perhaps, They haven’t gotten the recognition they deserve.. This lavender-colored anthropomorphic cat made her first appearance in Sonic Rush (2005). Blaze originates from an alternate dimension known as the Sol Dimension. She is the princess and the guardian of the sun emeralds – equivalent to the Chaos Emeralds of that dimension.
It is characterized by being a serious, reserved and independent character. She is very clear about her goals and she will not stop until she achieves them. Added to all this, Blaze has the power of piroquinesis
Blaze The Cat is one of my female characters favorites of the franchise and I know that for many of you too. We hope to see you again soon, either in the big screen or in any of the main sonic games.
Jet The Hawk
When we talk about sonic rivalsvillains like him always come to mind Doctor Eggman or – failing that -, characters that at some point have faced the blue hedgehog as Knuckles o Shadow. However, one of the most important rivals – and at the same time, the most forgotten of the franchise – has been Jet The Hawk.
This anthropomorphic falcon with a humanoid shape, made its first appearance in Sonic Riders (2006). This racing game developed by SEGAIt would end up becoming a trilogy. In this, Jet would have a very important role as Sonic’s adversary and leader of the Babylon Rogues.
The Babylon Rogues were hired by the Doctor Eggman to compete against Sonic and his friends in a series of extreme gears racing.
Jet The Hawk is quite a character vain and self-centered. In fact, that is its main feature – along with its great skill with Extreme Gears. However, Jet has a high sense of justice. A quality that sets him apart from other villains like Eggman.
Charmy Bee y Espio The Chameleon

I am more than sure, that most of you who are reading this will not ring a bell with these characters… Likewise, that maybe you do not hear the Chaotix Detective Agency. So, we’ll start here before delving into these characters.
The Chaotix Detective Agency arose out of the Team Chaotixwhich was made up of Vector The Cocodrile, Charmy Bee y Espio The Chameleon. This group first appeared in Knuckles´s Chaotix (1995) and was founded to combat Doctor Robotnik in Newtrogic High Zone.
Of this group, the best known character is perhaps Vector, among other things for being the leader. However, Charmy and Espio are also very interesting characters who contribute a lot to their team.
On one hand, we have Charmy who is the youngest of the group. It is for this reason that he often behaves like a small child. Charmy is quite innocent and hyperactive. His main abilities are fly and attack with its sting.
On the other hand, we have spywho the Ninja of the team. Yes, you have read correctly. This character has ninja abilities. Among these are its ability to make yourself invisible and create swirls of leaves; as well as his ability with ninjutsu.
His personality contrasts greatly with that of the rest of the Chaotix members, being this much more serious, calm and thoughtful than his companions.
Rouge The Bat
Lastly, we want to talk about another female character who – although she has been very recurring in the Sonic The Hedgehog saga – has not seen the light of day in a franchise project for several years. And it is that, the last time we saw Rouge The Bat was in Sonic Forces (2017).
Rouge She is an ambitious, flirtatious and very calculating jewel thief when it comes to drawing up a plan. On many occasions, she can come to seem too narcissistic to us… However, we are not going to deny that all of her blows have a lot of style.
His first appearance was in Sonic Adventure 2 (2001), where he worked with Shadow and the Doctor Eggman. Since then, his personality has evolved becoming a little less selfish and narrowing his relationship with Shadow.
