Passwords gave more of an annoyance, normally, as they are in many cases very weak. This has forced many websites to implement mechanisms that require creating passwords with numbers, symbols, upper and lower case letters. But Mr Beast showed another problem of Passwordspointing them to paper and it almost cost him lose $2 million.
If you don’t know Mr Beast, he’s a well-known American YouTuber. He has a channel dedicated to dares and jokes (always innocuous) to ordinary people. All the challenges and jokes end up assuming for the participant, to win a good amount of money or a large number of products.
Mr Beast nearly went bankrupt for writing down his passwords
Currently, Mr Beast is one of the hottest YouTubers in the United States. What he earns from his YouTube channel is donated to anonymous people through different fun challenges, always with no intention of harming anyone. One of his most famous videos brings the popular Netflix series “Squid Game” to life, but no one dies here.

It turns out that one of the pointed said “Bitcoin password”. It refers to the password of access to your bitcoin wallet, where he stored bitcoins worth $2 million.
lucky for Mr Beastthey did not move this money, since according to what they say, it was All the money I had at the time. He notes that every month he added $100,000 to this bitcoin wallet. Quite simply, it was (and may be) his way of saving for the future, an investment. Also, he says he was going to sell those bitcoins, which were at a high price at the time, to record some videos.

Lesson: Don’t save your passwords, memorize them
What always stands out is that passwords should be strong, yet easy to remember. It is recommended that these should not be obvious things, such as name and birthday, but something easy to remember. It can be part of your name and that of your pet with a significant date that is not easy to discover (date of birthday, marriage, birth of children, etc.)
Writing down passwords on paper may sound safe, but nothing could be further from the truth. Paper can be lost, accidentally thrown away, burned, wet and erased, etc. Third-party services, such as LastPass, which was hacked a few months ago, also do not compromise users’ passwords.
But there is more. It is not recommended to save passwords in the browser, which is quite common. It is also not recommended to use the same password for multiple websites. And above all, avoid using terms such as “password” or “password”, as well as numerical strings such as “12345678”
