Imagine being able to create unique and exclusive wallpapers for your Android mobile. We already talked a few days ago about how the Android keyboard will have access to Google’s artificial intelligence to create images on any site, and it can also be used to create custom backgrounds.
In XDA They have found the app which will be used to create custom backgrounds although, for now, it does not use artificial intelligence. At the moment this application allows you to create backgrounds based on an emoji, which we can configure to our liking with the emojis and colors we want.
The new Android 14 wallpaper maker
The app is hidden in Android 14 DP2 and only appears after changing a setting. When active, the wallpaper picker will gain a new option called “Emoji Lab”, which when pressed will open the new app.
To create a background, we can select up to 14 different emojis from those available on Android, as well as various patterns that will determine their appearance and the colors that will be used. There will also be a button that will create random images.
These images can be saved or modified, or directly used as wallpaper. In this way, Android 14 will gain an interesting option in device customization, which will adapt well to Material You since the interface will change to the colors we chose when creating the background.
