Phil Spencer has clear words about the mid-gen upgrade for consoles in this generation: unnecessary! The reason is the minimal improvements that you have to look for with a magnifying glass and that are difficult to illustrate.
Sony, on the other hand, is betting on a mid-gen upgrade at a next-gen price and is selling one PlayStation 5 Pro with more performance for a whopping 799.99 dollars. And despite the high price, that seems to be very well received by PlayStation players.
But what about you?
Are you in favor of a mid-gen upgrade and rather disappointed that there won’t be an “Xbox Series ?
In addition, an investment of 799.99 dollars (and more) seems to be extremely risky for some players, as a new generation obviously won’t be long in coming. Or would you not care, the main thing is more performance?
