The second season of “Bel-Air” has not yet finished broadcast ing, the streaming service Peacock is already extending the drama for a third season. No wonder, given that the series is the service’s most watched original series.
“Bel-Air” re-tells the story of the popular sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” in a more serious way. Young Will – formerly played by Will Smith, now played by Jabari Banks – moves from West Philadelphia to affluent Bel-Air.
Season 2 shows Will settling into his new home and adjusting to life with the Banks’ and especially his brother Carlton. We also see Hilary Banks becoming more and more successful as an influencer and deepening her relationship with jazz. Vivien and Phil’s married life also plays a role.
Besides Jabari Banks, we also see Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones and Simone L. Jones in the series. Also in season 2 we see Tatyana Ali, who took over the role of Ashley Banks in the original series.
