Deck 13’s action role-playing game has been quiet since Atlas Fallen was announced at Gamescom 2022. But now big events are brewing.
We know Deck 13 Interactive. After all, the studio has the first Lords of the Fallen and the Souls-like The Surge under its belt, which at least achieved respectable success. During Gamescom in August 2022, the studio, together with publisher Focus Interactive, announced a new action RPG called Atlas Fallen with an impressive trailer. Since then: silence.
That should change today, because Deck 13 announced via Twitter that the first insights into the gameplay of Atlas Fallen will be published today at 12 noon. It’s about time, too, because the game is supposed to be released on May 16th for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It can therefore also be assumed that the first insights will be somewhat more extensive.
This is also confirmed by the fact that a press demo is now available, which we have already been able to deal with extensively. You’ll have to wait a little longer for the preview of Atlas Fallen than for the gameplay presentation – we can’t tell you our impressions of the game until Friday at 3 p.m.
Atlas Fallen will take you on a journey through a semi-open game world that visually gives the impression of a mixture of Dune and Destiny – also because the reveal trailer shows a lot of sand. In this world, ancient mysteries and threats play a major role, which you can uncover alone or in co-op mode.
Update:
Was then a little less than hoped, just a 1:23 minute long gameplay trailer. Better than nothing:
