Shortly before the end of the FIFA series from EA Sports, the company is once again intensifying its efforts in the last part FIFA 23. As a result, you now get an extra dose of the Champions League.
About half a year before the start of its own football series EA Sports FC, EA Sports is still working on the last and current part FIFA 23. That’s why you can now look forward to additional Champions League content.
Specifically, the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) is now also entering FIFA 23 in the form of the knockout phase. You can now compete with some of the best women’s teams in the world, because here are Juventus FC Women, Real Madrid Femenino, Chelsea FC Women, Manchester City WFC, Olympique Lyonnais Feminine, Paris Saint-Germain Feminine, Arsenal WFC, VfL Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt are all available in-game.
You can jump right in and play the UWCL in kick-off, tournament, 1v1 and co-op seasons. An authentic representation of the UWCL awaits you in the game, complete with the UWCL Trophy, the UWCL Anthem, broadcast overlays and advertising boards. Last fall, EA Sports previously announced a multi-year partnership with the UWCL.
The integration of the National Women’s Soccer League in FIFA 23 was announced recently. Fresh ways to experience the teams and players of America’s Pro League await you here: All 12 NWSL teams are represented across all platforms in Kick-Off, Tournament, 1v1, Co-op and Online Friendlies. In tournament mode, you can recreate the season with a table of all 12 teams and experience an authentic presentation of the Shield and the NWSL Championship Trophy. Four NWSL stadiums will also be available in FIFA 23, along with authentic kits, starheads, trophies and celebrations.
The 2023 NWSL season begins on Saturday, March 25, 2023. All 12 teams are in action during the opening weekend of the 11th NWSL season.
