Capcom earlier acknowledged reports of visual issues with the PS5 version of Resident Evil 4 Remake, after players reported the issue shortly after the game went live. The issue simply causes the light at the bottom of the screen to flicker, and it appears to be limited to the PS5.
Capcom says it’s aware of the issue and intends to fully fix it in a future patch. But for players eager to jump in now, the good news is that there is a temporary fix.
The first fix is to simply close the game and open it again. Capcom recommends saving, closing the game and restarting. Given that the flickering problem doesn’t always happen, a reboot might clear it up – at least temporarily.
If this doesn’t work, Capcom recommends turning to leave Depth of Field and Steering exist motion blur. Both can be found in the game’s Options menu, the latter specifically under the Camera tab.
