The Brave is Riot Games' first multiplayer shooter.

Brave, The next game from League of Legends producer Riot Games has been officially released. Valorant, previously known as Project A, is a tactical shooter based on 5v5 characters, and is expected to be released in the summer.

Most of the contents of the Valorant leak last week were accurate, but thankfully the game's official website provides more details.

Riot's debut unison positions Valorant as a precise lethal shooter with a 128Hz tick rate server capable of running at 144fps. Riot hopes to solve the lag and other problems faced by online shooting games by pinging players for 35ms in major cities.

It plans to achieve this through a wide range of data centers and unique network codes with robust anti-fraud technology.

Riot said: "Shooting in Valorant is precise, fruitful, and highly lethal-we want you to win with your skills and tactics alone."

Each character in the Brave can use unique abilities, and you can also use the traditional counter-weapons you purchased. This combination looks strange, but when you see it, it makes more sense. The footage above was captured from a recent alpha test.

Although no specific details were disclosed, Riot did confirm the upcoming internal beta of Valorant. You can sign up on the link above for a chance to access it early.
