After knowing news in the last Nintendo Direct, we now have news of what was presented in the gameplay offered by Eiji Aonuma, producer of the franchise. Specifically, after learning about the game’s Switch OLED model, the mechanics presented in the video and that the weapons break, now we get new details from the official The Legend of Zelda Twitter account for Japan.
After detailing the Golems and the Kickback, the Zonnan, the Combination and the Ultramano and the Fans, now we bring you some information about that gameplay officially shared by Nintendo. The company has offered the following information about the Combination of arrows and shields:
The Combination power can be used to craft new types of arrows by “merging” various materials with your bow and arrows. For example, you can attach an ice material to your arrows to create ice arrows that will freeze enemies on hit, or a monster’s eye to create arrows that target enemies. Be sure to try lots of different combinations!
And the Combination power is so versatile that it can even be used with shields. For example, by attaching an “Exhaler Mushroom” to your shield, you’ll spew smoke by blocking enemy attacks. That way, you can take advantage of the smoke to attack enemies while they can’t see you!
