Mario made it onto the big screen again on Wednesday The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Although the beloved plumber is one of the most recognizable video game characters of all time, his film appearances are more limited. This time, he and his friends get the star treatment with a full cast of A-list celebrities paired with a stunningly animated feature film from Illumination, the same studio known for producing the Minions films.

As mentioned above, Illumination’s previous films have been like Minions: The Rise of GruShe joined Peacock exclusively first. Rise of Gru was able to stream exclusively on Peacock approximately three months after release. Given this information, we could expect that The Super Mario Bros. Movie will be available to stream on Peacock sometime this summer, likely around June or July 2023.
