Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 + Warzone 2.0: Season 3 has started – that’s all waiting for you!

Activision Blizzard has launched Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. Here we give you an overview of what to expect!

Above all, there are new multiplayer maps in the new season of shooters, but otherwise also the start of “Violent Resurrection”, the comeback of Plunder and Gunfight and the debut of well-known rivals.

Thematically, season 3 deals with the confrontation between Valeria Garza, leader of the Las Almas Cartel, and her counterpart Alejandro Vargas. The German musician and songwriter Elif has once again lent her voice to Valeria.

Specifically, according to official information in the respective games, this is as follows:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

• Gunfight is back with four maps including the new Warzone 2.0 Gulag Blacksite and fan-favorite Shipment.
• Three 6v6 maps, two battlefield locations: Travel to Europe for the new map Pelayo’s Lighthouse, delve into the darkness with the nighttime map Black Gold, and stay tuned for another core map to be revealed later this season. Also: Two new battlefield locations for Ground War and Invasion.
• New special missions: Later this season, survive waves of enemy reinforcements in the Defender: Hafid Port Special Ops mission; then you prepare for a new raid episode.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0

• Mighty Resurrection has started: At the start, up to 150 players can jump into the Resurgence mode in Al Mazrah.
• Prepare for again Plunder Next: The team-based race for money with revival is back in Season 3.
• One Lots of other new features during season: respawn drones reach Al Mazrah; protect yourself with hardened plate carriers; get perk packs during the season; UAV towers appear in Battle Royale; and more.
• DMZ reaches a new level: Bring and trade items with the new barter system; accept a new contract and complete additional missions from the new REDACTED faction; tinker at your contraband workbench before you face off against two new bosses and in [[REDACTED]]jumps in.
