Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has a long-awaited feature: No, it's not the much-anticipated warzone. Instead, you get a virtual pet that is worn on a bracelet and is called Tomogunchi. The similarities to the popular Tamagotchi toys from the 90s are "relatively" obvious.
What can the new pet do?
Be cute, grow and die. Sounds boring? Don't worry, the Tomogunchi works just like the real thing – that means it will bother you so much with its needs that you won't find it boring at all.
What does the tomogunchi cost? You can purchase the pet in the Tomogunchi bundle in the Modern Warfare Item Store. Cost point: 1000 CoD Points, this corresponds to about 10 euros.
How does the Tomogunchi work?
- You have to equip the bracelet before playing, only then will the pet be fed.
- Kills are his food: killings keep the Tomogunchi alive. It also includes wins and objectives achieved.
- First you have to hatch it, because your pet is sitting in an egg.
- If you collect enough food / kills, it grows through different phases (childhood, teenager, adult) and changes its appearance.
- There are different forms, for example a dog or a panda.
Very important: The Tomogunchi is not interested in whether it fits you in the stuff. If there are needs, they must be met as quickly as possible. Are you trying to get a domination flag? Bad luck – Tomogunchi means immediately when it says immediately.
If you don't take good care of yourself, your pet will first show his bad mood via grimace and will eventually go the same way as the real Tamagotchi – namely in the eternal hunting grounds.
