How is the game mode ‘Galactic Rescue’ of Overwatch 2
This is a 4v4 ‘Raid’ game mode on the ship Galactrius Infinite—a redesigned version of the Lunar Colony Horizon map—with four capture points. We will have two teams: the lookouts
as described a video posted on the game’s official account, the Watchers —which includes Lucio, Winston, Torbjörn, Wrecking Ball, and Ashe— will be joined by Doomfist Bonecrusher as an NPC to help them lead the way. For his part, the infinite empire —consisting of Sigma, D.VA, Sojourn, Mercy, Bastion, Soldier 76, and possibly more—will be aided by turrets at each capture point.
One of the new mechanics in this game mode are gravity barrels that, when exploded, pull in enemies and allies alike. At the end of the game, when Doomfist Bonecrusher destroys the container Echo is being held in, the station’s gravity will be removed.

The most interesting thing about this comic is that the players decide where the story goes. When the Starwatch event ends in Overwatch 2Blizzard will make public how many games of Galactic Rescue the Watchers won and how many the Infinite Empire. The winning team will see their victory reflected in the pages of volume 2 of the comic.
