The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdoms has some new types of Koroks that you can pick up, so apparently everyone’s first instinct is to bully them.
Small spoiler alert about this! Nothing to do with the plot, but some game opening sequences, so be careful.
I didn’t manage to get every Korok in Breath of the Wild, and I doubt I’ll be able to do the same in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. That doesn’t really matter to me, as I just love finding those funny little tree people around Hyrule in the most unlikely places. While some of the ways you’ll find the Koroks in Tears of the Kingdom are the same as in the first game, there are some new ones too. The best new Korok is easily the one whose backpack is too big for him to keep going. I love them, they are so cute! So can you stop bullying them?
I’m serious – people torture these poor, innocent little guys just because you can. A new feature in the game, the Ultrahand, allows you to pick up almost anything in the game. While you can’t pick up Koroks directly, you can pick them up through their backpacks. So of course this leads to people finding a plethora of ways for them to suffer.
First, a user on Reddit attached a Korok to a minecart, using woodland creatures as a shock cushion. They’re not test dummies, they’re here for help!

Another Reddit user turned another Korok-carrying backpack into a car, sending them on a journey into the unknown. At least let them pass the driving test first.

On Twitter, Twitch streamer Andy Cortez tried to come up with contraptions to make the Korok fly, but most of them didn’t work.
Another streamer, Hopcat, did something similar, turning Korok into a real rocket, and well, yes, this one got me hooked.
The first launch was unsuccessful, but this time Korok’s sacrifice will not be in vain. Tomorrow we will have a second launch. Good luck. pic.twitter.com/RvhcKsJkIZ

Perhaps the cruelest thing you can do to a Korok comes from pory_leeks on Twitter who turns five Koroks into a Korok rotisserie. I’m pretty upset if you ask me.
So after you’ve watched all of this, I’m asking you one thing: Please stop bullying Koroks unless it’s really funny, because then I want to watch it.
