On the occasion of the Warhammer Skulls Showcase, Cyanide Studio has now announced information about the first competitive season in Blood Bowl 3 and also confirmed the Lizardmen as a new playable faction.
On June 22nd begins the first competitive season in Blood Bowl 3; this was officially confirmed last night at the Warhammer Skulls Showcase. In this first season you can expect new features, namely the competitive mode, a blood pass with 50 reward levels and with the lizard people also a new playable faction.
The first competitive season brings new systems, namely an official ranking and the Blood Pass as a progression system. As you know from other comparable models, you can gradually unlock rewards over 50 levels. The Blood Pass will be free to unlock and will also bring access to the Lizardmen as a new faction.
The Lizardmen are a rather unusual faction, in that their players are both strong and resilient as well as fast and agile. Although their passing game isn’t the best, the Lizardmen get stronger with experience and are a smart choice, especially for experienced trainers.
Thanks to the event, there are promotions and discounts around Blood Bowl on all platforms from now until June 1st. Blood Bowl 3 is available for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
