Anyone who has painfully missed the Vikendi snow map in PUBG since Season 6 now has every reason to be happy: the map that was last banned from the game is now making a comeback, but with fundamental changes.
PUBG Corp. Vikendi had previously made numerous loot balancing changes and ultimately took them offline for a larger and more extensive revision. This revision is now complete and Vikendi is actually coming back.
First of all, the new version of the snow map is to be tested extensively in a test phase limited to PUBG partners, streamers and other community members with limited access. This test phase starts on Friday and will continue until Monday; Vikendi is available for all selected participants via the test server client.
If everything goes smoothly, Vikendi may later celebrate his comeback on the live servers. Then all other gamers can also convince themselves of the new version, which has been expanded to include trains – including a rail system covering the entire map. The following video clip provides moving impressions of this cool new feature.
Dinopark, one of the most iconic places on Vikendi, has been expanded and is now called Dinoland. Other locations such as Mount Kreznic or Tovar have also been adapted and optimized. Snow was also saved in many areas.
