We have received a curious list related to one of Nintendo’s most prominent franchises. It is in this case Pokémon.
Considering the sheer number of Pokémon attacks and abilities created so far, there are several different ways that allow you to change the types of Pokémon without the need to perform a Teracrystallization, the new mechanic introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple. Below you can see the 9 ways to achieve it according to Gamerant.
Here you can see it:
Waterlog/Soak
Allows you to change the type of the opposing Pokémon to Water type
Silvana Condemns
Unlike Waterlog or Soak, Damn Silvana does not change the type of the Pokémon, but adds it, being in this case the Grass type
Libero
Libero is an ability that changes the type of the Pokémon depending on the type of attack it uses in each turn of combat.
Change Color
It is the opposite case to Libero, since it changes the type depending on the last attack that the user has received
Electropalmas
This is Pawmot’s exclusive move, and using it causes the user to lose their Electric type for the rest of the fight.
Breath
This fact may be little known to some players, but Respite also causes the user to lose Flying-type for the rest of the turn when used to restore up to half HP.
Conversion
Allows you to change its type to the first attack in the Pokémon’s move list.
conversion 2
It allows you to change the type of the Pokémon that uses it to a type that resists the last move that hit it, being really useful to avoid weaknesses.
clonetype
As its name suggests, Clonatype is a move that copies the type of the Pokémon it affects.
