news wise Ignifus Zelda Tears of the Kingdom remedy: how to prepare this potion
Would you like to withstand the high heat of the Gerudo Desert or the Death Mountain Caverns in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but don’t know how to prepare an Ignifus Cure? In this article we will give you the recipe, but we will also tell you how to obtain the different ingredients necessary to prepare this potion.
The Ignifus Cure is a potion that you can consume from your inventory that prevents your body from catching fire when temperatures get extremely high. It is indispensable in the caves of Death Mountain, but also in the Gerudo Desert or on the Ridge of Ordrac.
If you haven’t got your hands on the anti-sand fire suit available in Secret Gerudo Club yet, this tool will come in very handy for you, especially for continuing Yunobo’s quest line from the Goron Village.
However, to reap all of these benefits, you need to know the recipe! This is why in this article we explain how to prepare this remedy in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
The recipe for the Ignifus remedy is relatively simple:
- 1 Ignifus Lizard or 1 Ignifus Butterfly + 1 monster resource of your choice
For the monster resource, we recommend you start with components that will give you no use for your amalgams. In particular, think of the chuchu jelly, which is very easily available in large quantities.
Ingnifus lizards are relatively rare as they only spawn in Eldin’s Gorge. You can find them in large numbers not far from Yun & Cie’s headquarters north of Goron Village
To capture them easily, all you have to do is consume a Silencio remedy that helps hide, equip yourself with the Yiga outfit specially designed for stealth, or simply crouch to reduce the noise the Cause them while walking.
Don’t hesitate to repair your weapons and shields by giving your weapons to the Octopierres present in this area. Since you’re there to catch lizards, you might as well kill two birds with one stone!
As for the Flaming Butterflies, you can buy 10 Rupees for it from the vendor in the Relais de l’est d’Akkala, which is right next to Marlin, the deity of horses.
