Krabby, Kabuto, Corphish, Clauncher, and Crabrawler all occur in the wild Pokemon Go. Yes, Krabby, Kabuto, Corphish, and Clauncher can shine in it pokemon go, but Crabrawler can’t shine yet!
All of these crab-like Pokemon can be shiny except for Crabrawler, which doesn’t have a shiny form Pokemon Go still. Shiny Clauncher was originally made available through the Water Festival: Beach Week event.
What is the shiny rate for Krabby, Kabuto, Corphish, and Clauncher in Pokémon Go?
The shiny rate for Pokémon on a normal day is about one in 500. None of the featured Pokémon are ones that receive a “permaboost” (meaning they are a rare spawn and therefore receive an increased shiny rate) from that we know.
What can I do to attract more Shiny Pokémon?
Unfortunately not much. It seems to be a coincidence. Shiny Pokemon catch rates are set by developer Niantic and usually only increase during special events like Community Days or Safari Zones, or during Legendary Raids. There are no consumable items that increase the rate of Shiny Pokemon.
