Rocket League turns eight and celebrates it with free gifts at the Birthday Ball event

It seems incredible that so much time has passed since we started playing soccer with cars, but it’s true. Rocket League It came out in July 2015 and wants to celebrate these eight years with the ‘Birthday Ball’ event and offering free gifts, but we will have to complete some challenges to receive them.

When does the Birthday Ball start and what date does it end in Rocket League?

The celebration starts on Wednesday June 28 and will be available until Wednesday July 12, 2023.

During the event we can obtain up to five golden eggs to unlock items from the Championship series 1-4. If you have participated in events before, you already know how they work. We just have to complete the challenges to win them and then open them in the inventory to unlock the objects of the eight years of Rocket League. They are the following:

• Gamer Anthem Hemi Birthday (made with real car engines)

The following LTMs will be available during the event:

• Super Cube (June 28-July 5): This is a hit and bounce mode where the ball takes the shape of a cube.
• Beach Ball (July 5-12): In this mode the ball curves in the air when we hit it.

• Storm Warning Decal: Noire (2000 credits): From June 28 to July 1

• Battle-Cars Birthday Cake Topper (200 credits): From July 6 to 7
• Aerial Anniversary Cupcake (300 credits): From July 7 to 8
