Celebrating 25 years of the award-winning NBA 2K series, there’s an exclusive Anniversary Edition packed with content and rewards.
2K announced that the 18-time All-Star, five-time NBA champion, two-time Finals MVP, two-time Olympic gold medalist, all-time leading scorer for the Los Angeles Lakers and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant the cover athlete of the NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition and Black Mamba Edition will be.
NBA 2K24 will be released worldwide on September 8th on all platforms and features crossplay compatibility for PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X|S.

In honor of Kobe’s return on an NBA 2K cover, players can evoke the Mamba mentality in Mamba Moments mode.
You’ll experience Kobe’s most moving achievements and his rise from a young basketball phenomenon to one of the greatest players of all time. In addition, NBA 2K24 introduces a breakthrough technology, ProPLAY, which overlays real-world NBA footage into NBA 2K24 gameplay.
ProPLAY generates animations and movement based on NBA action on the court, ushering in a new generation of authenticity on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. More details about Mamba Moments and ProPLAY will be revealed over the summer.
NBA 2K24 will be available in three editions and a variety of digital and physical formats: a Kobe Bryant Edition, a Legendary Black Mamba Edition, and a brand new, exclusive 25th Anniversary Edition with a 12-month NBA League Pass subscription.
