Finally, we officially have a new update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. We don’t know if this will be the last update for the game, but at least we’re sure we have a Halo video game with plenty of content to enjoy many years from now.
The July update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes many new features, some of which we already anticipated in a previous article where we looked at the Digsite project, which is working to recover classic Halo content. But not only, because 343 has also done its part to give us good news throughout the game, especially in Shooting mode, where we have seen the most important additions.
A game mode to play alone or accompanied now in matchmaking
It may seem trivial, but for Gunfight enthusiasts, being able to include new players during the game is something invaluable. In addition, the space for players has been expanded, going from 4 to 8 participants in each Shootout and with the possibility of entering ranked matches via a search engine in the list of game modes, something new in the franchise.
All of the above is explained in the Halo Waypoint Blog
This may be the last major update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, because with all the Digsite discovery, there’s not much left to do. So, we have a round match that started on the wrong foot. And hopefully they’ll give Halo Infinite the same treatment to regain their recognition.
