Diablo 4 Season 1 Release Date, Season of Evil Ones Details

THE Diablo 4 season 1 release date has finally been revealed, along with details on what we can expect from the Evil Season.

Season 1 will add the new limited-time mechanic Malignant Hearts, Season Journey, Battle Pass, questline, boss, dungeons, items, legendary aspects and more!

Diablo 4 Season 1 Release Date and Time

Diablo 4 Season 1 will be released on Thursday July 20 at 6 p.m. (BST) / 10 a.m. (PDT).

Keep in mind that to participate in Season 1, Season of the Malignant, you must complete the Eternal or Seasonal Realm campaign with at least one character.

The three biggest changes are the introduction of Malignant Hearts, a Season Journey, and the first Battle Pass.

Evil Hearts

Continuing how Seasons work in Diablo 3, each Diablo 4 Season will include a new mechanic not available in the base game. In the first season of Diablo 4, it’s the Malignant Hearts mechanic, which we’ll be introduced to in a new questline featuring Cormond, a former priest at the Cathedral of Light.

The season of Malignant adds 32 malignant hearts in four categories. You get evil hearts by defeating fully corrupted enemies that spawn after performing a ritual on partially corrupted enemies. The harder an evil creature is to kill, the stronger its evil heart will be.

When you get them, Evil Hearts are then placed in special infested sockets of your jewels instead of normal gems. They work the same way as gems, but Malignant Hearts contains unique new bonuses that can completely change your builds.

To help you acquire more evil hearts, evil tunnels – a new dungeon type – have been added in Season 1. These are replayable and contain evil creatures that are difficult to face, including Varshan the Consummate, a new Boss.

Season Travel and Battle Pass

Season 1 introduces Diablo 4’s first-ever Battle Pass and Season Journey.

Participating in Seasons is free, as is the base Battle Pass tier, but you have to pay £8.39 / $9.88 for the premium tier of the Battle Pass. Keep in mind that the Premium Battle Pass does not contain any in-game energy resources and instead unlocks tiers containing season-specific or premium store-only cosmetics.

The Diablo 4 Season Journey contains chapters with specific tasks to complete. As you complete these tasks and progress through the Chapters of the Season Journey, you will earn rewards such as Legendary Aspects, Mastery Title, and Scroll of Amnesia, which provides a free reset of the Skill Tree. skills and the paragon board.

By completing tasks in your Season Journey, you will also earn Favor, which is required to unlock free and premium Battle Pass rewards. You can also get favors just by killing enemies, completing quests, and participating in other activities.

If you purchased the Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of Diablo 4 and want to use your Battle Pass for this Season, go to the Seasons section of the Store and select the option to activate your Battle Pass.
