In October 2018, Montblanc SUMMIT 2, a smart watch that boasts of beautiful finishes, a new Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor and platform rebuilding with Wear OS 2.0 is coming to market. About a year and a half later, we finally know who will replace him, Montblanc SUMMIT 2+.
This is a new Montblanc smartwatch upgraded version of SUMMIT 2 It shares most of the features with it, but it differs in two important aspects: screen size (hence the box) and 4G LTE connectivity due to its compatibility with eSIM. The launch price also varies and, unfortunately, is quite high.

Greater and more are connected
SUMMIT 2+ retains the design of the previous model with a rotating crown and two function buttons, but makes it bigger, so that it can now increase one 43.5mm steel case instead of 42 mm. With a larger case, it has a larger AMOLED display area (1.28 inches instead of 1.19) and a larger battery (440 mAh).
It has 2mm Crystal Crystal sapphire, with shock absorbance and design, as well as an IPX8 water resistance certificate. Inside, we also have a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor, as well Google's Wear OS 2.0 platform. It also has a heart rate monitor, air gauge, compass, altimeter, accelerometer, gyroscope, and ambient light sensor.
Thanks to the built-in speaker and microphone, you can use Google Assistant or voice-enabled navigation. In addition, one of its main flaws is ESIM support without using a third-party system
Price and availability
New SUMMIT 2+ box available in four colors: silver, black, gold and bronze. The color choice of the case comes with a different bracelet in each case: black silver skin, black rubber bracelet black model, cream side gold case and green / brown leather bracelet.
Montblanc plans to launch its new watch in the market by April at a total of 1,170 euros, that is, 200 euros more than the previous model. Currently, there are no details on the countries where they will be available.
