This latest Dead by Daylight project marks the second video game spin-off, the first being the Dead by Daylight dating sim. You can’t say Behavior Interactive doesn’t understand its audience. The trailer is certainly atmospheric, showing a group of survivors facing off against a killer we can only imagine is horrific. However, it looks like we’ll have to wait for more information about the game.
This new game isn’t the only Dead by Daylight project to look forward to, though. Back in March, Behavior Interactive announced that Blumhouse, the company behind films like Paranormal Activity, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and The Purge, would be producing a Dead by Daylight movie. Not much is currently known about the project, as a director and screenwriter are still being sought, although I doubt we’ll see a character like the recently added Chucky appear.
