2023 was the year of generative AI, thanks to two projects that demonstrated the true potential of this technology. The first was ChatGPT, which showed the possibilities of an AI capable of generating text from a simple command; and the second was Midjourney, an image-creating AI that served to fill the internet with incredible and absurd creations.
In fact, the success of Midjourney has been such that it can no longer be used freely, which has led to the appearance of many competitors trying to imitate its style and possibilities. But Midjourney remains the most advanced AI of its kind
In version V5 the top priority was to resolve the major flaw of this model, hands; It was easy to tell if an image was created with AI just by looking at the number of fingers, for example. With this problem solved, the creators of Midjourney focused on creating AI that better understands what the user wants.
The first new feature announced is that Midjourney will now follow our prompts much more precisely, in addition to allowing longer descriptions. For this reason, developers now encourage users to be as descriptive as possible when requesting an image from the AI, as it will pay better attention to how we explain ourselves to create it; In fact, they warn that We’re going to have to relearn how to create prompts.
But the new thing that most users were probably waiting for is the words that appear in the images. This is one of the hardest things for current AIs, and usually the results are pretty bad, with spelling mistakes and crooked letters; Even Dall-E, from the makers of ChatGPT, isn’t yet able to create images with phrases without making mistakes.
MidJourney v6 is much better at including words in images 🔥
Here are some examples.

Therefore, Midjourney is now able to insert sentences into images you can completely change creations with this AI; The first users who published their creations on X (Twitter) demonstrate this, with well-rendered letters and impeccable sentences.
As usual, to create images with Midjourney we must use Discord, the messaging application, and access its official server; We can also add the Midjourney bot to our private servers and start a conversation to create the image we want. However, one thing to keep in mind is that Midjourney is paid, with plans starting at $8 per month. When typing the prompt, remember to add “–v6.0” (without the quotes) so that it uses the new version.
